Inductive/Deductive

Inductive Reasoning- is the thought process you go through to come to a conclusion, which involves gathering information that is true to come to a conclusion that we may believe to be true but may not always actually be true.

Deductive reasoning is the thought process you go through to come to a conclusion that is true based on the stipulations stated before hand. For instance, if i say that all girls have long hair, and then i say that Stacey is a girl, from the previous true statements i come to the conclusion that Stacey has long hair.
